Quick update, and a long overdue one at that. I would have had the jaws done earlier, but I dropped the model, breaking the front teeth of the T-Rex.
But after another appointment at the dino-dentist the teeth are done. FINALLY I might add.
The basic head shape is coming together as well, it still needs more bulk in some places, but It made progress.
I must admit that I am enjoying myself immensely while working on this beast.
What Causes Motherboard Failure: 7 Prominent Reasons

Can you think of a computer without a motherboard? Of course not! The
motherboard is one of the significant components of any computer. In the
case of moth...
That is pretty cool looking dude. Huge and very Trex like. Are you planning to add scales like the current carnosaur to it?
AntwortenLöschenThanks!
AntwortenLöschenI don´t think that I´ll add those crocodilean scales. I get why GW uses them (easy to paint, creates another surface to break up the model etc), but I think I prefer the T-Rex look. He´ll get my own brand of skin texture, though.

AntwortenLöschenI see, fair enough. I am sure he'll look great. Is he going to have a saddle? I assume he is a stand in for the carni as a mount.
AntwortenLöschenKeep up the work. =)
Don´t get me wrong, I like the scale-look of the lizardmen. I just can´t imagine the rex to look as good with those scales. I´d do a mock up in photoshop, but I have no idea how to do that.
AntwortenLöschenThere will be a saddle, and all kinds of glyph plates and other deorations. Currently I plan to do them either as seperate pieces, so I can have my regular Rex and the decorated mount version.
Cheers!
